Students should be wearing solid colored shirts and khaki (tan), blue, or black pants. The blue Leggett T-shirts are to only be worn on special occasions.
We have many students coming to school with striped shirts. That is not part of the APS dress code. Also, students are not permitted to wear sweaters or sweatshirts with hoods during the day. They may wear them to school but then hang them in their locker. Also, if the students are wearing winter boots to school, please make sure they have their school shoes to put on when they get to school. It is unhealthy for the students to wear boots all day. Students complain about their feet being hot and they have no shoes to change into.
Many students have a “dress down/jeans day” the month of January for meeting their MAP goal in Reading and Math. They should be wearing jeans.
On February 1st we go back to the APS dress code.
